Visited the Pocasset town forest for the first time. The
dirt roads are fine at the moment (November), but look like they
could be challenging at certain times of the year.
Came across a pumping station surrounded by a grassy perimeter
covered with pine needles. Looked like a nice place to leave
a cache.
It's a 0.35 mi walk from the nearest civilized intersection.
just outside a gate. I'm told there's a "No Unauthorized
Vehicles" sign on or near the gate. I must have missed it
when I drove in; but to be safe, better to park outside & walk
in.
Cache is a 3x5 lock-n-lock wrapped in camo cloth. (It's not
on the "grounds" of the pumping station, but in the woods
nearby.)
