Geocache Description:

Kamloops has developed its very own B.C. Spirit Square to celebrate the community’s rich history and commemorate British Columbia’s 150th anniversary. The Kamloops North Shore Spirit Square consists of a grid of trees to represent the orchards that shaped the area, a time capsule filled and sealed at the square’s entrance for future generations to discover and an additional area to the west which will feature a Spirit Forest that includes historical sculptures. This project will allow visitors to discover the rich history of the area and provide a gathering space for events such as farmer’s markets, community programming, and a shaded seating area.

We have made this a two part multi cache to encourage you to walk through the square and look at some of the plaques that tells us some of Kamloops history. It is a beautiful square so I hope you enjoy your visit to Kamloops Spirit Square. Please replace the cache as you found it and watched for muggles as it is a very busy area. BYOP.
