Gimmie Grace Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Craftea's Archives: Good thing I've got grace! This was one of many caches I picked up today that have been claimed by GA's guided tour group of my caches that had no signatures of GA's guided tour group.

This was one of my favorites in the Bracken area (but then, I think that about all my caches) and it's sad to archive it.

Geocache Description:

Grace is unearned or undeserved favor. Who wouldn’t want grace? Maybe you can consider I’m giving you some, because here’s a new cache to get a smiley from. Or maybe I was getting some grace because placing caches in November means a good chance of placing caches in the rain. Today was a beautiful day.

Then, as I’m placing the cache, I worried about tripping, falling, getting hurt and wishing I was more graceful. I could use a little more gracefulness in my life as well. I suggest, regardless of your level of gracefulness, that you bring a friend when you cache, because it’s more fun and safer.

I looked at my handiwork and though the forest has been graced by a very cool cache. I thought the sound of the water of the nearby stream was cool, too. I was thirsty and hadn’t brought any water with me. You might want to bring some for your hike out here.

Finished, I looked at my watch and hoped I could get out of the tree farm, into my van, and to school before the grace period to pick up the kids ends. I might have gone a bit over the speed limit. If we were ruled by a duke and duchess, and I’d gotten caught, I might have had to go before them and say, “Your Grace, I beg you to forgive me, I was only hurrying to get my kids from school.” Although that’s far-fetched of me to say.

You will have to go far to fetch this cache, although It’s less than a mile from Fire Gate No 3. The best way to find your way around the Pilchuck Tree Farm (and any other trails in Washington) is by downloading trail maps into your GPS. The way to do that is by following this link.

Congratulations to Rey del Roble and BrewerMD for hiking the (my) entire tree farm and getting FTF for RdR’s birthday!
