Geocache Description:

This cache replaces "Ghost Riders" (GC6DCA) which was first placed 7/7/2002.

The Ghost Riders silhouettes are on a bluff to the east, 2 miles south of Caldwell on US Highway 81 and astride the actual Chisholm Trail.

The trail was first established by Native American tribes and then made famous by Jesse Chisholm. It helped in the settlement of the Old West by providing a travel and communication link to the Indian Territory which is present day Oklahoma.

The Ghosts are a reminder of the great cattle drives when an estimated two million Texas longhorn cattle crossed the prairies on roads that in many places were a quarter mile wide and as bare as a modern highway and took them to legendary railheads like Caldwell.

The container is an ammo box and initially has the following in it:
3 Kansas Sunshine GeoCoins
1 Unite for Diabetes TB
Tennis Ball
Little Miss Muffet Stuffed Toy & Book
Math Card Game
Stationary

Note: You might watch out of the occasional cactus!
