Geocache Description:

Located at Bakong Temple (actually 3 ancient temple sites), just off national route number 6 about 15 km outside Siem Reap.

The cache is in a little explored ruined temple, close to the more tourist popular Bakong Temple (I believe you have to pay to get into the big temple, but not this one).
The cache is hidden under a small rock, near the old steps to one of the three ruins.
This site is quite difficult to reach, unless you find the right track to get there so be prepared for a good walk, or like me, use a motorbike.
When I hid the cache (2nd November 2009), the track was dry, but this changes in the wet season (June-October), but should be ok to walk, or bike with a little effort.
PLEASE BE AWARE that as I was placing the cache, just to the left, in the gap of the ruins wall, there was an old snake skin hanging down, so DO NOT stick your finger/hands/any other appendage!, into the gaps.
There are snakes, spiders and scorpions all around this area, and I have diliberately placed the cache where you can check first for any nasty stuff.
Please don't move any large rocks because this area is a national treasure, and there's no need anyway because the cache is under a SMALL FLAT rock
The ruins are sometimes tended by an old man, who will point out things for you, but there isn't a great deal to see.
He probably earns around $10 a month (no joke), so please, if you see him, drop him a dollar (or 4000 riel is the same).
As with any cache in Cambodia, please check, then check again for muggles, before retrieving or replacing any cache.
The locals just don't get it, and will take the container just because it's there.
