The Cabled Tree (Stump) Traditional Cache
bergmannfamily: The tree, which became a stump, has now been cut/broken down completely. I think there are more cables in this park, so hopefully a new replacement will rise.

A 35 mm film canister.
This was a bit of a spur of the moment hide. I was traveling to work by a non-usual route, and when I saw the little park by the Louise Bridge, I thought it would be a perfect place for a cache. Therefore, after work I drove by again and tucked this lock and lock with a logsheet, some tradeables, and a pencil into a reasonably safe little hideaway. I never knew this boat launch or park were here, and now with a cache there is even more reason to drop by and check it out.
December 12, 2011, the City has cut down some of the trees, including this one, but they left the stump and the cable. Maybe now it should be called the Cabled Stump.
September, 2012, the cache is now a 35 mm film canister, as the bigger containers keep disappearing.
