Geocache Description:

This cache has been sponsored by South Nation Conservation (SNC)

SNC is one of 36 conservation authorities in Ontario. SNC focuses on a variety of conservation practices within the South Nation watershed. see map: (SNC Watershed)

SNC is an environmental organization that works closely with its member municipalities, government, individual landowners and various community groups to maintain and improve the natural resources within its watershed.

This cache is placed at the intersection of the South Nation watershed and Bank Street. South of the posted coordinates is within the South Nation watershed (meaning water flows into the South Nation River), and north of the posted coordinates is within the Rideau Valley watershed (meaning water flows into the Rideau River). Watershed boundaries like this often determine which Ontario conservation authority focuses its conservational effort. You can see where these boundaries exist here.

The cache is micro-size, and should be a fairly easy find. This is a busy road, so if you choose to park on its shoulder, I recommend using your 4-way flashers. I also recommend trying to find this cache outside of peak traffic hours.

Congratulations to badminton1597 for being the First to Find this cache!
