This is the Mystery cache. Cache is not at the listed coordinates. Need to find N, O, P, and Q first. There is a good trail to R; however, it is along the river and can be extremely muddy after rain and the occasional flooding. The cache has washed away 6 times & is no longer duct taped to a root. It has been placed about 100 feet up the hill from the small stream. Note: Terrain & Difficulty are lower than 3.5 now that cache is no longer in stream bed.
This cache is part of my Alphabet Series. Usually there will be 4 or 5 caches in a given location. One cache is a Mystery cache and the others are traditional. One does the traditional caches first and gathers the information to find the Mystery cache. Each cache contains a number that should be recorded. After Z is published, a final cache (Total Alphabet)will be placed. To find the coordinates of Total Alphabet, one will need to have found all 26 Alphabet caches.
This cache is part of the fourth series of Alphabet Caches. This set contains five caches N, O, P, Q, and R. You should plan on hiking about 2 miles to get all 5 caches The suggested parking area for all 5 caches is N 39 09.684 by W 76 52.765 which is a way to enter Gorman park
The suggested order for the caches O, N, P, Q, R. Caches O & N are on one side of the road and P, Q, and R are on the other side. I bushwacked to O & N but crossed two trails. Need to bushwack to P but Q & R are along the trail along the river
