Gomadanzan Mountain has its elevation of 1372m, one of the highest peaks in Wakayama Pref.
The Koya-Ryujin Skyline Road runs 42.7m from Koyasan Okunoin to Ryujin-Mura village. The Skyline Road is laid along ridges making the view from the road extremely panoramic. This road is loved not only by many motorists but also motorcyclists.
The Gomadanzan Mountain peak is in the midway of the Skyline road. There are a large parking area, rest rooms, a gift shop and an observatory called Sky Tower.
A cache is hidden near a pathway between the parking lot and the Sky Tower.
