This is one of our regular stops on the motorcycle as the parking is safe off the highway. We usually sit on the wall along the courthouse and have our pop and moonpie or favorite item we brought along for the "pit Stop". The town use to have an ice cream parlor we liked to visit but alas it is gone. The town is full of history and waymarks as , that is why it is historically well marked with time capsules, historic markers, cornerstones and antique shops to browse like museums. It would be a great place for a town mural much like other smalltowns we have stopped in on our cache rides. Maybe there is a budding artist that will take up residence here to paint the towns historic art mural. This town has a story to tell I am sure! Not attached to any building. Permission to place by owner.
