Geocache Description:

Upper, Middle, and Lower Glendale Falls, Montgomery Cascade; four of 126 waterfalls in Hamilton.

You are at the top of a chain of 4 of Hamilton's 140+ waterfalls; Upper Glendale Falls, Middle Glendale Falls, Lower Glendale Falls and Montgomery Cascade. All four of these are situated on Montgomery Creek. Lower Glendale is the nicest of the four waterfalls. Please use common sense if hiking down to the falls. The rocks can be slippery, and there is no trail leading to the four waterfalls. If you feel that you cannot make it down to the falls, Middle Glendale Falls can be viewed from the above Bruce Trail. Upper Glendale Falls is a relatively easy walk down a path.Arriving at Lower Glendale Falls and Montgomery Cascade requires walking down the side of the creek going from rock to rock. At certain times of the year you may be walking in the creek! The 4 falls can also be accessed by walking up from the closed section of Mount Albion Road at the bottom. There is no trail up to the falls but it is very scenic. You are looking for a large copper coloured bison tube. There is no pencil in the cache. Please bring your own to sign in. Enjoy a gem on the Montgomery Creek Waterfalls chain.
