I'm a sucker for old stuff. This tiny park has been here for a while. There's the plaque from Girl Scout Troup 223 of 1951. See if you can find it. Another monument is dated 1919. Not all that old in the grand scheme of things but hey! Have you ever noticed how we do our best to not forget our past but then those who come after could care less? Ah well, there are artifacts of the past sprinkled about. Look around, you'll see what I mean. There are concrete footers for old park benches poking out of the grass down below. That was probably a good place to sit and look out over the town before the trees grew up.
UPDATE 04-20-2010
Well, The original container was muggled. The local kids ripped all the dead branches out and used them to build a fort. They must have thought the cache was pretty neat because they took it. I moved it a short distance away where they are unlikely to get their hands on this one. For now it's a more conventional container, at least until I can come up with something better that won't get taken.
UPDATE 08-03-2011
Place holder cache disappeared. All evidence points to Vicious Muggle Squirrels. New container has been deployed. Good Luck! And Beware the Squirrels!!
UPDATE 08-04-2013
Almost exactly 2 years! I just replaced the container in a different spot, and I'm going to change the coordinates a bit. This is a new container, probably temporary to get the cache up again. I looked around and I'll think about a more interesting permanent.
UPDATE 07-05-2018
For some reason I cannot log a note on this cache. When I Attempt to do so I get a one pixel image. Last I looked this was there. Nevertheless I will check it tomorrow. The hide location has absolutely nothing to do with the girl scout plaque. You need to navigate to the coordinates and look for it.
