This cache has been in need of maintenance for an extended period of time. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance since my last contact, I am archiving the cache to keep it from showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the edge of the city, just off of Central Ave. It is accessible from Central, but it is definitely a challenge to make it down the side of the steep slope as it is located at the bottom of the drop off towards the river.

Hope you're not afraid of insects! You are looking for a spot that is dark and kinda creepy... a place that would be perfect to hide a creepy cache crawling with bugs!

*If you have an hour for some leisurely caching (and to avoid climbing down the steep slope close to the cache site) I recommend starting (and parking) at "Pea Shrub Hide" and continuing Northward on the trail that leads down towards the ravine. It is just under a 1km hike from here. There are a number of great caches down here both to the North & South of this cache.

The cache is NOT recommended for small children as it is close to the river and the terrain is quite rough. Accessible in winter... but use caution!
