A small cache to lure you to a really great "Sunday morning' spot in Perth.
The cache is located on a piece of local infrastructure named for Edward Keane, a noted engineer, railway builder and architect who lived in the area. Keane was also briefly Lord Mayor of Perth.
His then home is now the club house of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club.
This area is one of our favourite Sunday morning spots. Quiet, nice views and a little coffee shop close by.
The cache was a small Sistema clip top container (lost two of these to the tides) then a mint tin to enhance its survival prospects. But the mint tin wasn't water proof so the logbook suffered badly.
I've now replaced it with a small waterproof box. The cache is secured with a carabiner clipped to a brass ring. PLEASE secure it properly when returning the cache.
