When walking down the streets in Kichijoji, I noticed a plate attached on the wall. It showed a street name and a number. It was "place display plate" started around 2000. The number means the distance in meters from JR Kichijoji Station. The cache was hidden near the one of remaining plates.
(1)Go to the base point indicated by the coordinates. (2)Then go to SUNROAD 60 SUNROAD street is located at the north of Kichijoji station. Go to the north by 60m and look for the plate. The cache exists near the plate. 吉祥寺の街を歩いていると建物の側面に「通りの名前と数字」が記載された表示板があることに気づきました。調べてみるとこれは2000年ごろに始まった「吉祥寺場所表示プレート」であることが分かりました。吉祥寺の商業地区では通りの全てに名前がつけられており、数字は吉祥寺駅からの距離をメートルで示しています。現在残っているプレートのひとつの近くにキャッシュを隠しました。 (1)最初の座標はこの「場所表示システム」の基準となる吉祥寺駅北口を示しています。 (2)キャッシュは、下記の表示板のあるところに設置しました。 サンロード SUNROAD 60 サンロード通りは駅の北側にあります。基準点から北に60m行きこの表示板を探してください。キャッシュはその表示板の近くにあります。 今では誰も気に留めないこのプレート、古いビルにはまだ残っていますので他も探してみてください。吉祥寺の文化遺産と言えるかもしれません。
