Martinsburg Travel Bug Motel and Debate Hall Traditional Cache
WhiteTigerXL: I had plans to replace this cache, but have not found the time to do it. I have a new idea for one in this area that may last a little better from disruptive muggles, so this one is being archived. Thanks to all those that visited!

Cache is a large lock-n-lock container. It is stocked only with travel bugs and geocoins. Please take or trade them, and weigh in on the debate when you log your find. However, please note that Groundspeak (the debate judge) has already ruled in favor of the Takers. There are NO restrictions to moving travelers with this cache. I suggest you park in the nearby gas station. You also need to watch out for muggles hanging out behind the nearby restaurant. Please re-hide as good or better than you found it.
The Question: Are you a Taker or a Trader of travel bugs and geocoins?
The Answer: Groundspeak has ruled that the mission of any travel bug or geocoin has priority over the wishes of any cache owner. This cache only wants to encourage light-hearted discussion, and does not wish that any travel bug or geocoin be held hostage.
Opening Statement for the Traders: I have a good friend and fellow geocacher that is a Trader of travel bugs and geocoins. He believes in the geocaching rule, and I quote, “if you take something from the cache, you must leave something for the cache.” Therefore, trading bugs and coins seems to follow the spirit of that rule. I also have kids that like to geocache with me. They like to see new travel bugs, learn their missions, and help move them along. There is nothing worse than getting to a travel bug hotel cache and finding it void of travelers. Think about the sad faces of all the children the next time you take all the travel bugs and coins without leaving others behind.
Opening Statement for the Takers: I have another good friend and fellow geocacher that is a Taker. He argues that it is the mission of every travel bug and geocoin to hop from cache to cache as quickly as possible. He believes he is a soldier with orders to help carry out that mission. Therefore, every bug and coin he finds, he grabs and moves to another cache. No trading, just taking. He argues that the bug and coin owners would want it that way, and that the owners do not care about the experience of those finding the items in the cache. He also apparently does not care about all the sad children finding empty travel bug hotels!!
Opening Argument for the Others: I suppose there is a third position in the debate, which are those Others that do not move travel bugs and geocoins, or those that do not care, or those that do not know where they stand. Regardless, I hope everyone enjoys the cache and the light-hearted debate. Remember that the answer to the question has already been given above, but please feel free to add your opinions when you log your find.
