This is a very common hiding style in Tennessee. You are looking for a "Mammoth Tube".
Have you ever noticed when you go caching in a different state the caches are completely different than what you are used to in your state/area? Not only are the caches rated different than what you are used to but the container and hides are different also.
This series of caches are some of the most commonly hidden caches that we came across while caching in other states. At first some of the caches had us wondering what “that” type of container was and where “that” type of container could be hidden but once we found one of “that” type of hide or style we could easily find the rest.
Don’t forget if the difficulty/terrain rating seems off, the cache container doesn’t seem right or you are having trouble finding a cache based on the description it just might be because that is how its done in another states and you are not used seeing that.
As we visit more states we will continue to add to this series.
Good Luck and Happy Caching!
