confluenceman: Ugh. Sorry to let this go.

But I've moved. I'm too far away to do maintenance.
When I put it in, Gonascar & I dragged a ladder into the woods, to drill a hole high up in the hollow tree, to attach the bunjicord. Now the bunji has lost its elasticity. The CC has been replaced at least 3 times.
And this cache has been trouble for other reasons; with muggles and letterboxers messing things up.
Time to say goodbye.

Geocache Description:

The Blue Hills Reservation is a great piece of hiking wilderness, considering how close it is to Boston.  On a good weekend, it can be as crowded as any city park.
This cache is on an uphill hike, on less traveled trails north of Great Blue Hill.  This link provides a detailed topo & trail map of the Hills.

Park off Rt 138, at the northernmost lot, after the Trailside Museum.  Take the Wolcott trail to the east, then branch off to the SE on the Puddle Path, towards Wildcat Notch.
Cache is a pnut butter jar.  It hides itself...
