As you probably know by now...The Mary Jane Girls are Indigo500 and Kiaria. Kiaria immigrated as a small child from Cuba. She doesn't have a place to go nearby to visit with her ancestors This place is mine....
I always loved this sign and this quaint little church.
I've been coming here since I was a little girl with my grandmother and grandfather. Many of my ancestors are layed to rest here. If you take the time to browse around, give a nod to the Haines, Starn, and Myers'.
My grandfather lived just south on Gray road on a farm where his dad had lived as a little boy. Originally there was a very small log cabin on the property and I have a picture of it.
His grandparents lived right by the church, on the SW corner, but it's no longer standing. My mom lived in the house on Gray road until she was 7 and the family moved to Indianapolis to be closer to my grandfather's work at the downtown post office.
As with all cemetery hides, please be respectful. Nothing is hidden on or near the gravestones. Please confine your searching to daylight hours only.
