Acadie was the name given to lands in a portion of the French colonial empire in northeastern North America. This included parts of eastern Quebec, the Maritime Provinces and modern-day New England. Acadie refers to the existance of a French culture in these areas.
We decided our friend, fellow cacher and Saskatchewan Acadian needed a cache placed in his honour!
You will be looking for a small matchstick container hanging in a large tree. We had problems getting a good reading for this one today, the signal bounced around a lot. We have wired the container to the tree, so there is "NO NEED" to take it down! Please just unscrew the container, sign the log and replace the bottom back into the top. This way the container stays where we placed it and it doesn't migrate :) No room for a pencil! Bring your own.
Good luck good friend for a FTF!.
