You are initially looking for a 4 x 6 camo'd lock n lock, however I am asking people to not leave tradeables, you will see why once you find the cache. You will need your own pencil. Although this is not a multi, you will need to find the FIRST container to get to the SECOND one. THERE IS NO NEED TO LEAVE THE PAVEMENT IN THE PARKING LOT TO FIND THIS CACHE. Please don't disturb the surrounding vegetation. Also don't go anywhere near the facility while searching or inquire within the building for information regarding this cache. Permission has been granted to place the cache here, so please respect the property and the time restrictions if you want it to stay.
This cache is placed at the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery (WITH PERMISSION) on Vye Road. The FVTH stocks approximately 150 lakes and streams a year, covering most regions in BC with Rainbow, Cutthroat, and Steelhead Trout. The hatchery is home to the Fraser Valley Domesticated Rainbow Trout Program, and maintains a captive broodstock of these fish. I never knew this place existed until my daughter's preschool class had a field trip here. I highly recommend you take your family here. The visitor centre offers interactive displays and computer games. Journey through a living stream featuring many species of freshwater fish. Learn about conservation and management of freshwater fish and their habitat. The Visitor Centre is open to the public and classrooms offering several programs as well as tours. There is a locked gate after hours, so please visit during the day, and preferably during visiting hours. Check out their website for further details. www.gofishbc.com
You can't fish at the Hatchery, but you will be able to 'fish' for the cache!
Also, please put everything back as you found it.
Note: the hint contains specific location information as I don't want people digging around too much, so please don't read if you don't want to know exactly where it is located.
Thanks and good luck!
