Los banditos were getting ready for a night out on the town!
"You know i lust after you when you
wear that John Travolta suit!" said bandita, and she gave
bandito a bone-crushing hug.
"No need for violence, bandita,"
he joked, as he regained the breath that she had squished out of
him.
They hopped into the banditomobile and sped off to the disco.
When they entered, bandito heard the unmistakable sounds of
Caribbean dance music. "This is high
treason!" he thought. "Why are they
playing limbo music at the disco?"
"It's a dance contest," explained
bandita. "The winner gets a brand new
sombrero!"
Bandito was very disappointed. He had most sincerely wanted to
boogie oogie oogie 'til he just couldn't boogie no more! Annoyed,
he stalked off to engage in some gluttony at the
all-you-can-eat buffet in the snack bar. He piled up a plate of
corn chips and salsa for himself, and loaded a second plate for
bandita. He carried them over to a table near the dance floor and
sat down.
Just then, the limbo music got louder, and bandito turned
to see bandita be nimble, bandita be quick, bandita go under
limbo stick.
"How low can she go?" he thought, still
considering the mish-mash of musical genres an act of
treason. And then, he learned exactly how low she could go,
as bandita clumsily fell flat on her back.
"Ai, bandita! I'm sorry. I guess you will not
be winning the new first prize sombrero!"
"No," she said, full of wrath.
"But thankfully, i will not be winning the
second prize, either!"
This puzzled bandito. "What's the second
prize?"
"A chihuahua."
