This Geocache has been placed with the kind permission of the Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation Department and the Matheson Hammock Park Manager. Had to start my own Twilight theme since I just love the whole series. They have nothing to do with the cache though.. Just wanted to use the names. Please search for this cache from the inside area of the ficus hedge. It will be easier to search without worrying about muggles watching you.
Matheson Hammock Park is a lovely scenic park with an unusual feature--a man-made atoll pool, which is flushed naturally with the tidal action of nearby Biscayne Bay. Its tranquil breeze-swept beach is a haven for families who enjoy its warm, safe waters and beautiful waterside views. The park also has picnic pavilions and nature trails. Open: Sunrise to Sunset. You may hike or bike into the area free of charge.
