A cure for your fleas - Melbourne's Lanes #6 Traditional Cache
iamapom: Time to archive. My disability means that it’s no longer feasible to reach this location safely and regularly. And there’s no leeway offered. So another old trad gone because of HQ rules.

The 6th in iamapom's "Melbourne's Lane's" series - highlighting all the cool, weird and funky backstreets that Melbourne is so well known for. Oh and it's perhaps a little trickier than some of the others!
This is Hardware Lane - many restaurants, cafes, pasta places, 2nd hand camera gear, ski shops, a cool fancy dress shop, a Maccas and a car park with a weird entrance along the laneway. A nice place. Please don't get run over by entering vehicles !! The cache is the usual magnetic cache.. It's small of course - and only contains log books - but no pen. It's not a nano (phew I hear you say!). This one is grey/silver in colour. The magnets are fairly weak - so please don't add anything unless its really small and light. It's at shoe level - so you will need your usual "tie the shoe lace trick". As the sign clearly say - the GZ is sometimes closed off at various times of the day - and this differs from day to day. But apparently it's fully accessible 24/7 at the weekends. At the right times - this could be very easy - at other times - quite tricky. So it's really not a 24/7 cache - but at the right times it could be a drive-by cache - you could even use your car as cover. There are plenty of muggles around this area too - so beware. This cache was inspired by a recent find of mine in Sydney @ GCVW6X. :-)
