This is a circular walk of approx 4.5 miles, across fields and bridleways south of Himbleton. The walk is on mostly flat terrain, with a few unfriendly dog stiles. There are 18 caches in this series. The complete walk should take about 3 hours. You could also take in Himbleton Hoard, Cito seed at Himbleton and Bow Brook 2. Walking boots or wellies are definitely recommended. Directions have been given where they might be helpful.
This part of the walk passes by Huddington Court, which is a 15th Century manor house, it has been described as the most picturesque house in Worcestershire. The plans of the Gunpowder Plot to blow up the Houses of parliament in 1605 were conceived in Huddington Court. Following the arrest of Guy Fawkes some of the plotters fled to here. They then headed north but were captured near Stourbridge.
Please note that Huddington Court is not open to the public and the occupants privacy should be respected.
If you would like to look at Huddington Court and the nearby church, turn right at the given waypoint through the gates. Huddington Court can be seen on the right.
Directions to next cache : Continue along the lane to the FP just after Mill farm. Cross small grassy field to next stile, continue diagonally across next field to the gate in the top corner.
