This cache was placed to add another cache on DeLorme Map 46. Will be easy for most.
I decided to place this cache to make an easy grab for those doing the Delorme Challenge. There is at least one other cache on this grid that must be at a beautiful spot by all accounts but it's quite a distance from the main roads, Routes 6 and 1.
I placed an activated and ready to travel Cache Eagle geocoin in this cache. This is the GeoClub September 2009 coin and it's one of the most unique and beautiful I've seen. Please keep it moving. There's also a FTF Pin, a mini-flashllight, a keychain from Ashland, Montana, a carabiner which I'd like to keep in the cache in the event the carabiner been used to elevate the cache should fail. There's a logbook and pencils as well.
I go to Grand Lake Stream every spring for fishing and I'm confident this cache will endure winter without issue. It's a Pelican case which means it's indestuctible and airtight.
This cache will be winter friendly unless we get more then 5 feet of the white stuff!
