A nano in the heart of Solihull - accessible to all providing you use a bit of stealth - seemed a good idea for my 200th cache placement (of which 2 have been adopted by others). Depending how busy the area is, the cache might be much more difficult than a "1" to grab surreptitiously and at the first placement, near the bronze statue, you might have had to bend down to tie your laces if you were disturbed.
However, the cache is no longer on the golden balls (they've gone), nor on the lamp posts with the hanging baskets (too likely to go missing)! In the past this area was sometimes fenced off during the Christmas period to protect the town's Christmas tree or some of the railings were removed to allow the construction of an ice rink. Thankfully, this now seems to be a thing of the past with the new cafe developments and a huge fence, which is great for hiding geocachers who are searching for something.
I've put a new nano container in place in 2022, in what I think is a less 'at risk' position (although you can no longer see the statue from the hide)- but we'll have to see.
!! Sadly the fence got extended and a gate (usually unlocked) was fitted so in September the cache has had to be moved to its 4th or 5th new location a little to the north but it is still close to the "Happy Family" and in full public view so much greater stealth is required!! In November 2023 I have moved to hide to the nearby circular seat as the hide on the lamp post was too high for several people and this is easier to find surreptitiously. Thanks to Mel&Freddie17 for their help & attaching a new tube to the magnet when the former had gone missing.
