The original Historic Quincy was placed for the 4-H Summer Day Camp. It has been replaced with this evil twin in a Geoduckish style.
This building was constructed in 1852. It has been the Washington Lodge #2 location as well as the Quincy Women's Club. In 1987 the building was given to the Gadsden Historical Society. It was built by Charles Waller and despite alterations, the present structure retains much of its original elements and character. The exterior walls are constructed of native sand brick and are three bricks thick.
