Geocache Description:

This cache is in the Deam Wilderness near Patton Cave.

There is a huge old tree at this site with a hollow base alongside an old homestead site. A local told me that an old hermit burned out the base so that his dogs could fit in there with him.

It is a neat place so I planted a match container cache so other cachers could come see it.
