Geocache Description:

Brief: Park, walk to WP 1 (the given co-ordinates), find information, calculate co-ordinates for final, walk to final. A tiny hill may be involved. Final is a 400ml green camoed Sistema.

We've driven past Lake Lyndon too many times to remember.

Always the question before we actually see it is ' how high will it be today?' We both remember a time when the main lake and the smaller pond beside it were joined together as one body of water. Now days that is seldom the case, and sometimes the pond doesn't even appear to have water in it.

If you would take a photo of the lake from WP1 or the final and post it with you log we would really appreciate that. Or if you could write a comment in the logbook or online log about the lake level and weather conditions that would be great too!!

Go to WP1. You will find two plaques there abouts - one metal, one white painted. You need the number on the metal one. Call this number ABCD.

The co-ordinates you need for the final are:
S 43 17. A+B, A+B, Dx2
E171 42. A+C, A+C, A+D
