Geocache Description:

The north shelter is a little roofed picnic area and gathering spot in a quiet, little known part of the park down by the river. Located next to it is a built-up rock pit for a warm, comforting fire. On the other side is a BBQ grill and a large open field that would be good for tossing a ball or throwing a Frisbee.

The cache is smaller and probably in the log-only category though very small coins may fit.

Park hours for all King County parks are dawn to dusk, which is about 20 minutes or so before/after sun-up/sun-down. Be sure to remove your vehicle from the parking lot, and past the gate located quite a ways up the road, by then or it will be locked in overnight. Respect all parks rules while hunting the cache; any violators of park rules will permanently lose their smiley. Today’s dawn, sunrise, sunset and dusk times can be found here.
