Geocache Description:

Welcome to an urban oasis!

This little forest is just a few blocks away from our once 2nd home in Lindsay. The cache location is just off of a small trail next to Fleming College's Frost campus. I got the name of the cache from a saying my aunt says religiously when wanting to go for a walk and now has become an everyday saying amongst us. My brother discovered this short but pleasant trail last winter and in our time in Lindsay, we have seen a few neat birds and animals roaming around, so keep your eyes peeled!

When I found out about geocaching, I checked to see if any caches had been hidden here and I was pretty surprised that there weren't any. I did some investigating and found a great hiding spot and a perfectly sized container!

The cache is a camo'd ammo box with a few trading items and a logbook. There's enough room for travel bugs as well. Like I said, the cache is about 20 meters off the trail and there are a few trees and plants so some light bushwacking is needed. I've put in a toonie for a FTF prize. It's a nice little mosey :)

Park at the Lindsay recreation centre, the trail begins not too far from the parking lot. Or the G lot off of Albert Street South has a trailhead too tucked in the south west corner of the lot. Have fun and happy caching! :)

**UPDATE:** As of June 2014, we are no longer in the Lindsay area unfortunately. We still miss Lindsay all the time and hope to visit every now and again in the future! But because of that I won't be able to tend to this cache as easily if it needs any repairs (which it shouldn't since it has lasted a long time and is somewhat sheltered), but if any future visitors to the cache read this and are armed with a "geocache first aid kit" (i.e. Ziploc bags, tape, working pens, etc etc...) and see any repairs that need to be done, feel free to do them. It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :)
