Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash near New Milton Rugby Club

New Milton Rugby Club was founded in 1927 and ranks as one of Hampshire's longest established rugby clubs.
It has thriving teams in all age groups from under sevens to adults and games are played most weekends during the rugby season. (September to Easter). If finding the cache at weekends during this time please be aware that there will be lots of muggles around.

There is a playpark for children nearby so you can enjoy some time with your children as you cache.

This is my first cache hidden and so I decided on a quick cache and dash at a place where I spend a lot of my time watching rugby.

Parking can be found at N50. 45.408 W001. 38.463

The cache is a 0.5l plastic container with room for the log book and small swaps. When first hidden it contained a first to find badge and Rugby Mad TB as well as various swaps.
When rehiding please make sure that it cannot be seen to avoid being muggled.

The area is flat and grassy so should be suitable for buggies and wheelchair users, but you will need help to retrieve the cache from it's hiding place. Please bear in mind that in winter the field can be wet and muddy.
Dogs are welcome but should be kept on a lead if there is a rugby match on. Please be considerate and pick up after your dog as there is nothing worse when children are playing rugby on the field than landing in a pile of dog muck. There are dog bins provided for your use. Thank you.
