yankeepride: Well, even though the bench had been slowly dying, the cache was surviving ... until recently. Now there is nothing left but the metal, and it was either found and removed or else fell into the ground and I can't find it. Either way, this one has run its course so it's time to shut it down.

Geocache Description:

A typical park bench hide in a non-typical location.

Not really a part of the Tiny Often Empty Park series, but a very similar hide to what you'll find in many of them. This one is pretty easy, but there's no real parking here other than on the street. It's kind of BFE around here, though, so it shouldn't be a problem. Best bet to avoid arousing too much attention is across the street on McCatharn Road. Bring your own pen.
