Geocache Description:


Hid on the day of the Continental Divide Trail anniversary and trail dedication ceremony. (I gave this a Difficulty rating of 2 only because it's quite far from anywhere but Hatchita, NM. You can practically drive up to it and walk less than 100 yards.)

The Continental Divide Trail Alliance hosted a ribbon cutting and celebration for the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail near Hachita, New Mexico today. This celebration was to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the Trail’s designation by Congress and to display the southern terminus monument which will then be installed at the U.S.-Mexico border in the coming weeks.
