A short hike from the Flag Pole in Merritt. A nice trail will take you very close to the cache. You will enjoy a view of our town.
Take the dirt road adjacent to the graveyard to the lookout.
Take the trails or the road to the flag pole.
Follow the steep road just beyond the fence where the terrain plateaus.
Just beyond the fence (50m) you will see a trail with yellow mountain bike markers peel off to the right.
Take that and enjoy a great little walk through the woods.
Stay on the main trail at all times.
The cache is only 30m off of the trail.
Enjoy the view.
