January 23, 2010 FIRST 2010 'BIG ISLAND' GEOCACHING MEETING - KAILUA-KONA
The Big Island Geocachers will be promoting geocaching at their January 23rd "Meet &Greet" at Lava Java on Ali'i Drive. Anyone who is interested in geocaching or who owns a GPS is encouraged to attend this event. No experience is needed, as volunteers will show you how and where to find a geocache. There are about 1,000 geocaches hidden on the Hawaiian Islands with about 100+ of them on the Big Island alone. Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at At Lava Java on Ali'i Drive. Free to the public.
