Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the town square where you can see a statue of the elusive Wyoming Jackalope!

The City of Douglas was created as a result of the extension of the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroads through central Wyoming. It was named after Stephen A. Douglas, a noted Illinois statesman.

Overhead power lines may disrupt your GPS readings so here's the hint in plain English: Look at the end of a long, white object. The cache is a lock-n-lock container.

The cache is located in a small park area in the center of town so you will have to be mindful of muggles!

This cache is part of the "Downtown/Main Street USA series. Please visit the cache that started it all - Downtown/Main Street USA Edison, NJ. Here you will find the latest count of caches in the series and find out how you can add your own.
