This cache continues a series of hides dedicated to songs by individual artists or groups I enjoy and also relate to the cache itself. This is also the first time a cache in this series has been co-owed by my son...skeezixx.
Green Day's Dookie was released in 1994 and immediately catapulted the group into the mainstream. Many followers of the group thought that they soldout. Believe what you want 15 million in album sales and a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album in 1995 certainly makes a statement. Longview was one of 5 hits from the album and was my son's suggestion for a cache name and since he helped place the thing I'm fine with that, especially given the fact that the finder will be treated to an awesome "longview" of the area...can't beat that.
This cache is located in Deadhorse Ranch State Park. You will be required to pay a user fee to enter the park so plan on making it a day or more. We frequent this park with azbuds and we can all attest that this is a great way to spend time with family and friends.
