Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Access to this small cache is via a dirt track (part of the Mawson Trail) on the northern side of the Wirreanda bridge after the grid. You can drive to within a quick walk to the cache.
The old Wirreanda bridge was built in the 1870 -1880 period as part of the original Ghan line. After many large floods it finally succumb in 2007. Take care around the structure, but also take the time to walk downstream to the west and you will find some of the masoned stones that once were part of the structure. Amazing workmanship. You will also notice the land owner has put up no camping signs along the track on their boundary. Please respect these requests.
