Geocache Description:


A good time for toodling that'll take you through Pleasant Bay Crown Land Area. Terrain is sandy but relatively easy. A couple hills of sand but that is it.

This cache has 3 redirects that'll bring you to the southern reach of the land to find a final. All redirects are winter/kid friendly. Not much bushwacking is required, but you may be tempted. For the final, take the Easiest route possible.

This is a lovely area that doesn't require paying any fees. Feel free to pickup some trash while caching. This area does recieve a lot of recreational usage, so please respect their kind. Be advised that you may see dead fish and dead birds - so keep your children and animals near. Access is through following the path from the first redirect. The bible camp is private - do not go there.

This is a great hike and a great spot to catch a sunset. Don't hesistate to bring water since round trip is around 3.5k (give or take a few m's). Cache can take small items for trade. Enjoy the hike and the other cache in the area along the way. I would not advise caching this area are night since you'll be far from your vehicle.

Lots of parking available @ N43 57.165 W077 31.210 on the side of the road. All we ask is that you bring your own pen and do your best to minimize handling the redirects. If at all possible, don't even move them! If anything is sticking out do your best to put it where it belongs so recreational people do not find.
