Geocache Description:

Large ammo box filled with goodies. Off of a well worn path around Great Pond.

This cache is in the 280 acre state forest of Great Pond. Basically follow the trail that circles the pond. If you find a white pine thats four feet in diameter you are on the right track. Hide the cache as you found it, I passed an older gentleman hunting for mushrooms.

Need directions?

I went from the junction of CT 167 and CT10/202 and followed 167 ~.2 miles to Firetown Rd and turned right. Go .7 and there is a fork left onto Great Pond Rd. There is a dirt road entrance in 1.6 miles.
