Geocache Description:

Christmas Get-together for West Coast cachers and anyone who would like to join us!

A caching event for some of the newer cachers out there to come along and meet each other. There will be time for hanging out and exchanging all those tips and tricks we’ve learnt so far, talking with some more experienced cachers, and perhaps participating in a few games and activities. (There might even be random presents – it is almost Christmas after all!)

One of our New Zealand reviewers – Camocrab – will be attending, so it's a great chance to ask all those tricky questions about cache placement.
There will be a ‘field trip’ later in the day to learn about the wonders of Wherigo if people are interested.


So put on your Santa hat and bring your own meat & non-alcoholic drinks, plus a salad or dessert to share for a pot luck BBQ at the co-ordinates listed above. We will make sure there is plenty of bread, sauce and onions! To save the environment from plastic plates please bring your own crockery and cutlery.
Proposed date & time is Saturday 5th December, starting 12:00 noon, but if there is a strong preference for Sunday that is a possibility too. (Christmas Parade is on that day though.)


Experienced cachers very welcome also. Come prepared to answer questions and share hints and info with newer cachers.

Newer cachers welcome to post one question each that they would like to find out more about when logging a will attend. This will help us to know whether we can answer you queries!!

Please make sure you log that you are attending so that we can let you know if there is any change of plans/location due to weather or other circumstances.

Well socialized children welcome. 14yrs and under must be with a parent.
