A great place to enjoy a view of Llano County.
You would think that the Texas Hill Country would be one beautiful view after another. I have found that panoramic vistas here are actually not all that common. There are some, but most are very limited, partially blocked, or there is nowhere to stop to enjoy it. This is one such location that does not have these problems. I would suggest you not try to make this a park and grab. The road can be busy at times, so park just south of the cache and enjoy a short walk. Enjoy the view also, of course, but watch out for the cacti as you move around.
