La chiesa, edificata in onore del santo, venne istituita parrocchia nel 1853, e nel 1904 elevata a chiesa arcipretale. È sita ai bordi dell’originale letto del Sile, ora chiamato “Sil morto”, da quando, per necessità produttive dell’allora ditta “Chiari e Forti”, fu deviato il percorso del fiume, inserita nell’attuale parco naturale del Sile.
Percorrendo l’argine opposto del fiume, lungo l’alzaia, è possibile scorgere la chiesa e gli edifici adiacenti: la canonica e le aule di catechismo, quest’ultime di recente costruzione e che uniscono la canonica alla chiesa.
Portatevi una penna per il logbook.

The church, built in honor of the saint, the parish was established in 1853, and in 1904 elevated to archpriest church. It is located at the edges of the original bed of the Sile, now called "Sil dead", from where for the production of the then company "Chiari e Forti", was diverted from the path of the river, inserted in the current natural park of Sile.
Driving on the opposite bank of the river, along the towpath, you can see the church and the adjacent buildings: the rectory and classrooms for catechism, the latter of recent construction and that combine the rectory of the church.
Don't forget to bring a pen wih you to sign the logbook.
