Knowledge is Power Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

SearchNSeekNEnjoy: Hello ...and Coleman,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. Please check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines for more info.

I've added this cache to my watchlist and ill check back to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intention, please post a note here on the cache page (not email) to let the community know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If 30 days pass without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Thank you,
SearchNSeekNEnjoy

Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE SURVIVED HURRICANE IRENE

Knowing about geocaching is like being a member of a secret society. It opens up a world of knowledge that most of the population is unaware of.

Just like this cache.

You will not need to go inside to find the cache, but you should anyway as there is something for everyone available through the massive double-doors.

This is a place we spent plenty of time in over the years, where we go whenever we need to get smarter. (Did you know that we can rent DVDs here for free too? Yeah, they'll even order something for you if they don't carry it!)

If you have trouble making the find here, maybe there is material inside that can help educate you on the many wonders of geocaching. Perhaps there is a copy of "The Idiots Guide to Geocaching 101", written by our founding fathers.

As children we spent many days here, as they have an amazing children's section on the second floor. We saw puppet shows and magic acts here, have celebrated birthdays and Halloweens here, and the wonders of the place always delighted us.

The city recently remodeled the entire place, so today's children's section is much more improved from our childhood days.

The building itself is exactly what you would expect, with sharp angles and that old sort of spooky feel that these sort of places all should have (it only adds to the mystique)

You are looking for a smaller-sized cache, but it would spoil all the fun to tell you exactly what it is. When you find it you will understand. So please no spoiler logs or else we will be forced to delete them.

There is no stealth needed here as the cache has been placed with approval. You will not need to trample any vegetation nor look in any bushes for the cache.

You will not need to open anything or do anything out of the ordinary to find the cache. It is staring right back at you!

You will need your own pen, pencil, marker or crayon to sign the log.

Happy hunting!
