Geocache Description:

A small container located on Landon Trail Southwest of Topeka. Container can hold small trade items, TBs, coins. BYOP

The Landon Nature Trail is a rail-trail being developed on 38 miles of the former Missouri-Pacific Railroad from Topeka, south, to Lomax Junction, east of Pomona Lake in Osage County. This historic 123 year old "Mo-Pac" rail corridor was originally built in 1886 by the Kansas, Nebraska, and Dakota Railroad. It is now being developed under the National Trails Act, Rail-Trails Program, as a trail and wildlife area open to the public for non-motorized use. Visitors are invited to come out and enjoy activities such as hiking, biking, running, and horseback riding. It is a wonderful place to walk the dog and pursue a healthy lifestyle for the whole family. The route also comprises the major north-south artery of the Topeka City Trail System.
