This micro cache search will bring you to a really nice and historic spot that you probably don't even know exists, but you may have driven past it hundreds of times and never even knew it was there, or what happened here.
Enjoy this scenic spot as it is a great spot to eat lunch and learn a bit if you have a few minutes to spend here to learn about Goschgoschink,a group of three Indian towns on the upper Allegheny River north of Tionesta and near present day West Hickory in Forest County. Also referred to as “Refugee Towns.” The site was approved by the ruling Seneca for use by Munsee-Delaware and other Indians displaced from eastern PA around 1767. These Indians were associated with the Moravian missionary David Zeisberger.
You can also grab a waymark at the historic sign at the entrance to the area from Route 62.
