NOTE: As of January 2016 the Mural has Vanished! Will it be back?
A small but functional suburban park hides a reasonable-sized mural that not many realise is here. Featuring a number of native Australian species, most of which are not in Victoria, and one is even extinct, the brightly coloured mural was designed by Carol Ruff, and painted by Carol Ruff, Bob Gill and Charlie Aarons in December 1988.
The mural is in Browns Reserve, which has a number of mature trees, but which unfortunately also hide this bright bit of work. The inner suburbs could do with more of both. For those who may be interested, Carol Ruff maintains a website on which there are a number of other interesting examples of her mural work around Australia.

The cache is necessarily small and you will need to bring your own pen. It is in a position where it should be retrievable even if there are muggles in the park.
Please BYO pen.
