Geocache Description:

This cache is in The Great Swamp in Patterson NY, you will need a canoe or kayak unless you can walk on water

This is your opportunity to take a nice peaceful paddle in The Great Swamp. A canoe or kayak will be needed (no motors) unless you can walk on water or go in there when everything is frozen solid, the choice is up to you. You are looking for a super tube (1" by 5") and there should be no reason to have to get out of your boat (unless the water is really low). This is a log only cache that does have a pencil in it, but it is always a good idea to bring your favorite writing utensil with you just in case. You will have to drive over an unguarded railroad crossing to access the parking and portage area (waypoint below) so please use caution when crossing the tracks. While here don't forget Swamp Thing (no boat needed), and Neener Neener Meaner Biner which is along the way to this cache.. As always be safe, have fun, and Enjoy!
